Little Bird Creations is a cozy studio where you can create art, jewelry and make many friends. Please go to the Little Bird Creations website to get additional info and to sign up. Guilded Lynx
I taught a resin workshop at the Guilded Lynx in September. Lessley Burke is the owner of the gorgeous studio in a quaint town in Ridgefield, Connecticut. I had such a wonderful bunch of students, they made lots of beautiful resin, klay resin and crystal clay pieces. I will post pics soon.
Hurricane Sandy
I want to wish everyone a a speedy recovery from Hurricane Sandy. So many friends and family have been affected and are still going through hoops trying to get back to "normal" living. I pray every day for those whose lost loved ones. My heart aches for you. I will keep everyone in my prayers.

IN THE PINK
In The Pink is or rather was a secret group of BSBP participants. It was created to honor Lori Anderson for coordinating the bead soup blog party. There were 400 participants from all over the world participating in this blog party and Lori was responsible for pairing us all up!! Amazing don't you think? I say hell yeah!!!! LORI ROCKS!!! She worked tirelessly to pair us up, to set up three reveal dates and to answer all our questions, and boy there were lots of questions! I had the honor to work with Heidi Kingman. She and I had similar taste in jewelry, in colors, and in style - I just don't know how Lori did it but she was spot on when she paired us together.
My hat goes off to you Lori, thank you for being such a giving person, for allowing us to come together and create. It was my first time participating in a BSBP and you made it a wonderful experience. Not only did we create beautiful jewelry but we made so many friends - and that my dear is priceless.
This is in honor of you Lori....IN THE PINK! Laurin and Isolina

It has been a great experience participating in my first bead soup blog party sponsored by Lori Anderson. Over 400 participated from all over the world in this blog party and I am still in awe - so many beautiful pieces of jewelry created. There have been two reveals thus far with this reveal being the last one for this BSBP.
My bead soup partner, Heidi Kingman sent me the most beautiful assortment of semi-precious stones with a beautiful birds nest focal and clasp. I tried to incorporate as many of the stones and findings as possible, Heidi sent a generous amount of the most amazing stones. I will have lots of fun making many more pieces of jewelry with the remainder of the bead soup.

Resin Workshop
Had a resin workshop over the weekend with some talented ladies ever! The amount of pieces they competed was amazing! My reaction was "what!" some of these ladies were making jewelry for the first time! While others were beaders. I was blown away by all the beautiful pieces created. I will be posting pictures as I get them from the students then you can judge for yourself. I'm positive you will be amazed as well.

These cute Halloween babies were created last year when I attended ArtBliss in the D.C. area. This was the first class I had taken that involved soldering with a soldering iron. Boy what a difference from a torch! After a few tries and a few burns I started to get a hang of it and I had so much fun!!! This workshop was offered by Diane Cook, Diane offers many workshops throughout the US and in addition will be offering an online workshop this summer. Her blog is awesome - check her out.:)
