These pieces were done by a great student of mine, Trisha Gray. The first image is a bit blurry but you can still see some of the details. Trisha created this piece in my advanced wire wrapping/cold connections class at FIT. The second image are from my Resin workshop. Notice the beautiful beaded bracelet with the resin bezel she incorporated into the piece.
I have lots of pictures of artwork I'm working on but can't seem to download it on my iPad!!! So off to Apple I go tomorrow to try and resolve this problem. Can't believe it's 2013. Where does the time go? I had some time off from FIT only to get sick - bummer. Today is the first day in weeks I'm not sneezing or coughing and no temperature - woohoo. I was due to teach a resin workshop in February but because I was sick, I will not be able to offer the class.
Last semester I was very busy teaching my wire wrapping and advanced wire wrapping/cold connection classes at FIT. I also had the pleasure to teach a resin workshop at Guilded Lynx Studio in Connecticut. The Guilded Lynx is the kind of studio I envision having in the future. It's in a quaint little town that is literally a hop, skip and a jump from NYC. Check out their website for upcoming workshops. I'm scheduled to teach at the Guilded Lynx in March so keep checking my blog for class information.
I'm scheduled to teach a resin workshop at Little Bird Creations on Sunday, April 21st. The class is currently full but I hope to teach another class when time permits. Check out Little Bird Creations meetup group for the opportunity to take awesome workshops from artists from all over the country.
Well there you have it. May 2013 bring you joy, happiness and health.
